On October 18, 2008, WEMBA 12 graduates were conferred their MBA degrees and diplomas.Rating by FORUM
The WEMBA program achieved the quality standard of MASTERY CLASS in the MBA rating by Association of Management Education FORUM in 2008Residency session in Minneapolis
WEMBA 12 students together with Executive MBA programs from Austria, China and the USA took part in the Global Residency session in Minneapolis from 11 to 19 May, 2008.
The novelty of the MBA program market in Poland is a residency session, a unique project organized for second year students of the WEMBA program at the University of Minnesota. The session syllabus is not limited only to visiting companies, attending classes and social events but working together on a project by students from all four Executive MBA programmes run by U of M: from Poland, Austria, China and the USA. The meeting in Minnesota take place in May. In fall, students created virtual teams and began working on the project. Results are presented during the session in Minnesota.
• WEMBA graduates received the world-wide recognized MBA diploma and the degree from the University of Minnesota. The same diploma is received by students who complete their studies in the USA.
• Students have the unique possibility to work on international teams of Executive MBA students from Austria, China, Poland and the USA.
• Classes are conducted in Polish and in English.
• They are held on Saturday and Sundays only.
• WEMBA students, lecturers, graduates and administrators use the Internet system Memento for communication.
• In 1996 the Warsaw MBA Association was establish -- the Warsaw branch of the Carlson School of Management (the University of Minnesota business school) alumni association.
• You can postpone your WEMBA studies and finish them within 5 years from the program beginning.
