Integration session

Courses are preceded by an integration session which is always organized in September just before the beginning of the academic year. The session is attended by the new students for whom this is a wonderful chance to get to know each other before the courses start, and alumni from prior years. Coaches help in the integration process; during the session they have lectures on group psychology, team building and team problem resolving, and they organize respective workshops.

For the fifteenth time WEMBA program students and alumni have met on an annual integration session organized in Guzianka.

During the workshop it turned out that even short self-presentations filmed on videotape constituted a great challenge for even the most experienced managers. It is not easy to introduce oneself in two minutes so as to imprint one's image in colleagues' memories, especially as there are many strong individualities in each group.

One of the important aims of the WEMBA session is building friendly, informal mutual relationships between the students and the organizers of the program and informing them of the issues which are important for our school. Close contacts with the WEMBA Office enable constant enhancing of the program with significant participation of the students.

Similarly as in the prior years, many alumni took part in the session. For many years they have been participating in the integration sessions, cultivating valuable contacts and meeting new people.
